Introduction
The Screenleap API allows you to easily add support for live interaction (screen sharing, video conferencing, audio conferencing, chat, and more) to your website or online service. Our easy-to-integrate API allows you to get up and running quickly, our code-free configuration support allows you easily customize your integration to fit your needs, and our scalable infrastructure allows you to run an unlimited number of concurrent share sessions at the same time.
Please note that, while the Screenleap API offers more integration flexibility, if you just want your users to be able to start and join share sessions from your website, our Screenleap integration might be easier for you to integrate and use. The Screenleap API doesn't support user accounts, so it will need to be implemented manually on your end. We recommend trying out the website integration option first (which is billed per user account) and then switching to the Screenleap API if the website integration option doesn't meet your needs.

Pricing
Billing is usage-based. The actual rate is based on the number of participants in a screen share, the duration of the screen share, and the features enabled.
We give you five hours of free sharing to get you started. This gives you a risk-free way of trying out the API to see if it meets your needs.
Additional API sharing time is billed based on usage. It is priced as follows:

Requirements
The requirements for the Screenleap API quick integration are:
- You must be able to modify your website to add a small snippet of code (see the Integration section below for a sample snippet).
- Your website must be secure (the URL of the page you are integrating with must use
https://). - Your users must be using a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari). Viewing from mobile and tablet devices is supported, but sharing is not currently supported.
